Chaminade SG Lewis Talks Verbal Pledge To Duquesne

Mike Lewis became the latest member of the Class of 2016 on the St. Louis area prep hoops scene to announce his college plans, with word that the Chaminade guard made a verbal pledge to Duquesne Sunday night.

Lewis, who according to Rivals had offers from Southeast Missouri, Illinois State and IUPUI, told STL Preps he was impressed with the honesty of the Dukes’ staff, that he had “a great relationship with the players” and that they had a great facility.

The Red Devils will be stocked with future college talent this coming season. G/F Jayson Tatum previously announced he would attend Duke. PF Tyler Cook is in the middle of making his official visits and has indicated he would choose between Missouri, Florida, Iowa, Iowa State, Arkansas and Virginia sometime before the start of his senior season. Will Gladson, a F/C who has battled through several injuries over the last three years, has picked up interest from SIUE, Brown, IUPUI and other schools.
