Rockwood Summit High School Football Coach Eric Stewart is heading into his second season at the helm of the Falcons. Here’s what he thinks about his club as we’re just a few weeks away from fall camp:
Summer has gone really well so far for Rockwood Summit. Offensively we return 8 starters…several of which are skill players…Brenden Keller at QB has looked really good in 7 on 7 along with returning All-Conference/All State WR Jordan Haliburton. Our other WR’s, Brandon Gilmore and Jake Burlison have shown shown playmaking ability as well.
All-Conference RB and All-State Wrestler, Sam Pennington, returns at RB. We are still looking for the right combination upfront but expect Dyllon Durell to be the anchor of that group. Defensively we return 6 starters. The Defensive line is anchored by returning All-Conference DL Elliott Leinauer. Junior Bryce Edwards will be a kid to watch at DE. Dylan Moorman and Alex Banta return at LB and have improved this offseason after strong Junior seasons. We also feature two very good
CB in Tim Hall (3rd Team All-State) and Jordan Haliburton.
