Eureka’s Hannah Long Aims For Return Invite to adidas Dream Mile

In a storied distance career at Eureka High School which includes running the fastest mile in state history and being named the 2013 Gatorade Girls Track and Field and the 2014-15 Girls Cross Country Player of the Year in the state of Missouri, Hannah Long aims for more hardware this weekend at the Missouri State Track and Field Championships in Jefferson City, and appears to be doing work in that regard already.

She has one more piece of business she’d like to atend to before she heads to Stanford. The multi-sport star needs support for a spot in the adidas Dream Mile. Voting ends Sunday. She finished Fourth at the event in 2014. Her coach, Kally Fischer praised Long as an extraordinary athlete and young lady. “Her strength and wide range is amazing and she is always a competitor,” Fischer wrote.
