The Chaminade Red Devils are off the court until Tuesday afternoon when they face the winner of Hazelwood East-Ritenour in second round district play. But the travels of Chaminade’s top talent, national top-ranked junior Jayson Tatum are what has the college basketball world abuzz this weekend. He left Thursday to take his first official visit to one of basketball’s blueblood programs.
The Blue Devils take on Syracuse Saturday.
Tatum announced a list of ten schools last fall that were still in the running. That list still includes the University of Missouri and St. Louis University. Tatum has said that he expects to further winnow the field this spring.
