The CBC Football Cadets won a state championship in November, but the fruits of the team’s labor keeps pouring in, in the form of some bling, presented on Thursday.
That work was further recognized in the form of more Division 1 scholarship offers for members of the junior class who will try to defend the team’s state crown in 2015.
Running back Tre Bryant was offered by Indiana University last weekend during a Junior Day visit, and picked up another from the Kansas Jayhawks on Wednesday. Bryant will take a junior day visit to Missouri this weekend. KU has been busy with CBC in recent weeks. The school also offered another CBC junior, Lamar Anderson. Anderson talked to Scout.com about the first offer, from his father’s alma mater, and the possibility of playing with Bryant at the next level.
The offers come just days after senior defensive lineman John Chamberlain confirmed he’s going to Lawrence this fall as a preferred walk-on.
