Rising Chaminade College Prep Junior Jayson Tatum took to his Twitter account Monday to name 10 schools still in the running to be home for his college career.

Most of the choices are not surprising, given that Tatum has said that playing close to family is important. Kansas, Illinois, Saint Louis University and Missouri are all within five hours of home by car. Kentucky, Duke, Arizona and North Carolina are always prolific recruiters of elite talent.
Four of the schools on the list (SLU, MU, KU and Wake Forest) have also offered Tatum’s 2016 classmate at Chaminade, F/C Tyler Cook. Wake Forest came on later than nearly all the other schools involved. Also worth noting is what will happen with another member of the 2016 class, Harry Giles, a forward out of Winston-Salem, NC, who has teamed with Tatum at USA Basketball. The two have been quoted by reporters on the recruiting trail as having at least had some discussions about playing together at the next level. Giles has offers from a number of schools, including Duke, North Carolina, Kansas, Kentucky and Wake Forest.
